NMi Expands Our OIML Scope

We’re thrilled to announce another milestone at NMi – our OIML issuing authority scope now includes OIML R60:2021 (for load cells) and R129:2020 (for multidimensional measuring instruments), recently approved by the OIML-CS Management Committee.

Ahead of this extension, we’ve invested substantially in training our Approval Experts and updating our test reports to adhere to the latest standards. This ensures precision and accuracy in every facet of our work, guaranteeing our clients receive the highest-quality service possible.

NMi proudly serves as an Organisation Internationale de Métrologie Légale (OIML) Issuing Authority (NL1) and Utilizing Participant under the OIML-CS with the most recommendations in its scope. Additionally, we’re proud to announce that for the R129:2020, NMi is the only Issuing Authority. Instruments covered under R129 are used to measure the size of a package in, for instance, the freight and packaging industry (like postal sorting facilities).
