NMi Group Expands Market Access Services with the Acquisition of Electromagnetic Testing Services (ETS)

NMi Group, a leading provider of market access solutions, calibration and testing services, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Electromagnetic Testing Services (ETS), a specialized EMC testing lab based in the South-East of the UK. This strategic move strengthens the NMi Group’s ability to provide comprehensive compliance solutions to customers across multiple industries, further enhancing its position as a trusted partner in market access.
ETS, founded in 1995 by George Vassilas, has built a strong reputation in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing, on-site testing, calibration, pre-compliance testing, and EMC consultancy. The company serves a diverse customer base across industries such as industrial manufacturing, medical technology, EV charging, communications, and laboratory research, among others.
NMi already conducts EMC testing as part of type approval under the Measuring Instruments Directive/Regulations (MID/R). However, many of its customers require standalone EMC testing for CE certification, which ETS specializes in. This acquisition will allow the NMi Group to expand its testing capabilities and better serve customers needing end-to-end market access solutions.
