Week 1

Phase 1: Introduction Meeting (Online or In-Person)

Initial Engagement: Our team connects with you to discuss and understand your unique requirements, focusing on:

Type of charger,
kWh-meter utilized,
Target geographic markets,
Roadmap and strategic factors.

Needs Assessment: We evaluate this information to define the services required and devise the best approach to meet your needs.

Weeks 2 – 3

Phase 2: Project Scope

Application Form: After our introductory meeting, NMi will send you an application form to gather more detailed information about your device.

Test Plan Preparation: Our Approval Experts prepare a test plan, which we then review and discuss with you during a second meeting to ensure all aspects of your project are covered.

Week 4

Phase 3: Post Quotation

Project Engineer Assignment: NMi assigns a dedicated Project Engineer (PE) to your project once the quotation is agreed upon. This PE will be your main point of contact for the project’s duration.

Documentation and Samples Request: Your PE sends a Request for Documentation form, which includes a request for the necessary test samples.

Weeks 5 – 13

Phase 4: Project Begins

Project Commencement: Upon receipt of signed test samples and a Purchase Order, NMi initiates the testing and certification process at our Delft lab in the Netherlands.

Testing and Feedback: Over 9 weeks, we conduct ASCEF-testing, offer continuous updates, and send draft deliverables for client review and approval.

Week 13

Phase 5: Project Completion

Final Documentation: After completing all necessary tests, NMi provides you with the final deliverables, including test reports and approval documents. The entire process from the initial introductory meeting to the final certification is efficiently designed to be completed in less than 13 weeks.
