Important Security Notice: Beware of Fraudulent Emails Claiming Bank Account Changes
12 January 2026
We want to alert our customers and partners to a recent phishing attempt involving fraudulent emails that appear to come from NMi.
These emails falsely claim that NMi has changed its bank account details and request that recipients update payment information accordingly. Although the messages may look legitimate, they are not sent by NMi.
What to Watch For
The phishing emails are being sent from suspicious domains such as:
- @nmiqroup.com (with a q instead of an g)
- @nmicertin.com
These domains closely resemble our official email addresses but are not affiliated with NMi.
Our Policy
Please be aware that NMi will never request bank account changes or payment updates via email. If you receive such a message, do not respond or click on any links.
What to Do if You Are Unsure
If you receive an unexpected email regarding payments or bank details, please contact your known NMi representative directly or reach out through our official channels to verify the information.
Your security is important to us. Thank you for staying vigilant.
